What does a typical week look like for you as Thoughtful’s Developer:
Every week brings new challenges and opportunities in my role. I work across a dynamic mix of responsibilities—from building custom, high-performing webstores and implementing SEO best practices to troubleshooting technical issues and delivering effective solutions for clients. Throughout the week, I collaborate closely with design, SEO, and marketing teams, providing expertise and support to ensure project run smoothly.

What did you study or how did you get into the role:
I completed a Master of Information Technology. My programming journey began shortly after finishing my undergraduate degree, when I joined a web development agency as an intern and was introduced to real-world development environments. That hands-on experience helped me bridge the gap between theory and practice, sparking a deeper interest in the field. Since then, I’ve continuously learned and adapted to new tools, platforms, and systems. Each stage of my career has expanded my skill set and enabled me to stay agile in the rapidly evolving tech landscape.

What does success in the role look like? Client results / growth etc
Success in my role is defined by the impact I create for the brands I work with. This includes high-performing, SEO-optimized websites that not only look visually appealing but also drive meaningful conversions and deliver a smooth user experience from start to finish.

Equally important is building strong, collaborative relationships with clients—understanding their goals, addressing their challenges, and offering thoughtful solutions tailored to their needs. Success also means proactively solving technical issues before they escalate, and continuously refining the website based on data insights and user feedback. When clients see revenue growth, improved brand visibility, and fewer technical roadblocks, it’s a clear sign that my work is delivering real value.
